Fast, efficient and reasonably priced! Late morning Sunday hot water valve disaster was unexpected. Checked my Angie’s and Home-advisor and selected high rated Hicks Plumbing near me. 1p, Christine Hicks called me back and her husband was nearby finishing another Sunday job. About 2:30p, He and associate arrived, saw problem, agreed on price and within 30 minutes problem solved. A very satisfied conclusion to a no water problem!

Found about 1/3 gallon of standing water in the basement, no visible leaks. Hicks came out on no notice and got there 2 hours after I called, and was able to fix the issue. Thanks to the Sewer Line coverage through Dominion Power, we were assigned to Hicks Plumbing. Although our call went into them in the late morning, they were out to the house later that same day to at least determine the cause of our trouble. Mr Hicks himself came out to the house and scoped the pipe to find the break 80 ft away. His crew arrived the next day before the either Ms Utility or Fairfax County. They had to wait for the process to catch up. They returned after we got the all clear from Dominion to proceed and they stayed on the job until it was done – around midnight. They were very professional and repaired the pipeline so it wouldn’t break again, all within 48 hours. Can’t say enough good things about this company. Mr Hicks even came back the next day to check on the work. I now have a plumber for life.

I had a very uncommon situation in my home recently which resulted in an infestation of a type of fruit fly. This was not an issue the pesticide company could address rather it required a specialized plumber. Mr. Hicks was familiar with this issue and by utilizing his highly specialized equipment was able to identify the source of the breeding areas in my basement. He replaced the pipes and re-cemented the flooring. The work was pristine and the staff left my house in excellent shape as they cleaned up everything and were very careful not to damage anything in my home. This company is THE best not only for professionalism but also dedication to solving a problem.
